Trademarks | Madrid Protocol | India did not join the Madrid Protocol

Recently circulated among law firms Patent Attorneys dealing trademarks that India has ratified and joined the Madrid Protocol, but is not the case. Currently the Indian government has not yet ratified the protocol and can not be at this stage to file international applications using the Madrid Protocol in India.
